Beyond the Plane of Dreams is the Plane of Doors, a mystical barrier coterminous to and coexistent with all planes. It is the Plane of Doors which blocks off the Void and the other Unseen Realms, wrapping around and protecting the planes near Avadnu and making travel through the planes beyond difficult. Any traveler attempting to cross between Unseen Realms (including the Void), or between the Unseen Realms and the planes protected by the Plane of Doors must cross through the Plane of Doors. There, the traveler must find a portal to his or her desired destination⎯spells and magic only allow travelers to return to the plane from whence they came, and not to reach a new destination.

The Plane of Doors consists of an infinite network of stone hallways, bridges, and stairways covered in knee-deep fog, crossing each other seemingly without order. An infinite series of doors flanks the passages, each door of a different design and leading to a different place, plane, or time. Any location or time in the universe can be accessed through the doors, though all are one-way and some are kept locked by the plane’s mysterious caretaker, Qorinn. There are even doors that lead to alternate versions of history and the future. Powerful magic (such as discern location) or the assistance of Qorinn is required to find a specific door.

The Plane of Doors was created in order to protect Avadnu from the Void, and Qorinn has maintained it ever since. A simple, cloaked figure, Qorinn speaks little, and seems mainly devoted to preserving the current order.
