Player's Guide to WFRP3e
What This is About
These notes are designed to provide you with the foundation of what you need to know to play the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Edition game. When you look at the game for the first time, you might be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things in front of you. Fear not, this is just how FFG expresses a unique game system.
Who You Are
Your character is defined by your race (Reikland Human, Wood Elf, High Elf, Azgaraz Dwarf, Other) and your stats. Things are further defined by the career you’ve chosen, the skills you’ve learned, the talents you’ve chosen and the actions you have available.
How You Do Things
Those dice… they’re a colorful lot and there are seven varieties of them. Don’t worry, their all just six, eight or ten sided dice. The colors are there to help you keep them where they belong.
Good dice are blue, green, red, yellow and white. Bad dice are purple and black. They are marked with two or more of ten possible faces. Reading the face-up symbols after a roll lets you determine the outcome of an action.
