Previously a “Boom Planet” like Riraliza, Marrith was largely mined out and abandoned. While most expensive technology was taken from the planet, a large amount of structures and ‘cheap’ equipment was left behind. Many workers stayed on Marrith when it was abandoned generations ago. Marrith has evolved into a cultural mystery, a drug and art heavy culture with very few imports or exports and a great deal more support structures than necessary for the population has created a service driven economy.
