Having survived his charted adventuring company’s assassination, the abandoned bethel where the Fist of Traeus was thought lost, William now finds himself the sole survivor of a ship rendered to pieces at sea by some deep water horror. Harassed by crows outside some fishing village, William is hungry and lost and at the beginning of his trials.
