Pegasi
(some irky formatting on this page. I’ll handle it later)
Nimble and charismatic, but with a frail frame, Pegasi are born with lighter bones, along with the gifts of cloud-walking and flight. Many Pegasi remain in cloud cities rather than mingle with other pony folk. Capable of surviving in a wide range of environments and temperatures.
+4 Dex, +2 Cha, -2 Con: Pegasi are nimble fliers and natural leaders, but have lighter bones, making them weaker in body than other ponies.
Medium: Pegasi are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Fast Speed: Pegasi have a base speed of 40 feet.
Natural Talent: Equines get a 5 to any skill of their choice. This determines what their cutie mark will look like.
Flight: Pegasi gain the flight ability by use of their wings at level one. At 1st level Pegasi are clumsy (-8), they are poor (-4) at 3rd level, average (0) at 7th level, good (4) at 11th level, and perfect (8) at 15th level.
Cloudwalk: Pegasi may treat clouds and fog as solid ground or as vapor.
Weather Control: Pegasi have the ability to move clouds and start thunderstorms through direct contact with the clouds.
Cold Resistance: Pegasi are immune to cold damage and take no penalties from low temperatures.
Inert: Pegasi cannot cast spells.
Going Crazy!: When an Equine can’t successfully do her special talent, she starts to go…a little crazy. Equine characters have a pool of 6 sanity points. With every failed roll involving the character’s special talent, she loses a point. After losing a point, her personality grows more and more different from her original personality and she takes a -1 to all saving throws and her special talent skill roll. After losing all six points, she becomes a polar opposite of her original personality and takes a -10 to her talent skill roll. An Equine can regain all of her sanity points by being calmed down by friends for at least thirty minutes or by getting 8 hours of rest.
Languages: Pegasi begin speaking Equestrian. Earth Ponies with high Intelligence scores can choose between Old Elken, Old Gryphon, Old Boarean, Ancient Camleun, Elken, Vaporian, or Draconic as their bonus languages.
