Many residents of Leandra do not actually know of the existence of the great desert. There are also those who have heard of it,but have no clue where it is. Truth be told there is a great desert very far from the safety of the grand city of Leandra.

It’s a barren land filled with a split population of the cultists and the sand-walkers. It’s history is filled with constant warring between the above peoples. The friendly residents of the population are the sand-walkers while the cultists stay in small temporary camps around the deserts to pillage any caverns that are unfortunate enough to make camp with the cultists nearby. The cultists worship Set and will sacrifice any who dare enter their desert.

Until recently it was ruled by a single king’s dictatorship and before that it was ruled by a more primitive and greedy pharaoh who was said to have taken all of his riches with him to the grave.
