Kimyee tells us that she had a good time with Ben and he took her dancing.

Cynthia shows up and gushes about how awesome her “heroes” are and that she is doing an interview on Wednesday and wants us to join in. Peter tells us we’ll get back to her later. I guess he needs time to find an appropriate excuse. Fortunately, she does not seem to be as focused on me and Ellie. She flirts with Peter and gives him her Pepto-card. It even has foiled silver roses. Wow.

Kimyee will tell us more about her date after the guys are no longer around. Peter leaves.

Kimyee and Ellie decide to have a Klingonese learning competition. Georgia will judge. Time is until end of school year.

Peter gets harassed by some blond prat in a suit. Kenneth Dansworth and the four horseman. Equestrian team? Wow. Kenny likes to run the ponies?
Comments about “slumming” and all that nonsense. “Make sure they know their place.” Seriously? Is he trolling for sycophants? “Clean yourself up and show how awesome you are. Show others how suck they are.”
“I’ve heard better pick up lines, but I don’t swing that way.”
“You think I’m GAY?”

“I’m not against gays, but I don’t think they should put it in your face all the time. Besides, it’s not natural.”
“What is natural? What’s wrong with two people in love expressing themselves? Marriage is a contract.
“It will give you more prestige than you can possibly imagine.”

“Beyond your wildest dreams.”
“I have some pretty big dreams, many NC17.”
“Oh, we get lots of chicks. Top choice all American meat.”
Peter flashes Cynthia’s card.
“Hey! We haven’t gotten with her!” “Shut it.”
“And that is the end of my argument. Good day and stay away from my friends.”
“Or what?”
“Or its on.”
And then Kenny tries to whip it out and fails miserably. He stalks off with his tail between his legs and his ponies following faithfully in his wake.

Adrian’s birthday is on April 19th. We should go to D&B for Battletech fun.

Wednesday is the press conference with Cynthia. Peter is the only one who attends. I’m at Phoenix. Ellie has practice. Cyrillo has pool practice. Kimyee has fencing practice.

She tears up talking about the traumatic experience and gushes about their heroic efforts. She mentions Peter and Cyrillo specifically.

The weekend comes – April 16
Go to Peter’s gig. Cynthia is there in her pink glory. Under blacklights. Wow.

Cynthia is so overcome with emotion that she flings herself at Peter for a smooch.
Peter tries to play it off and turn it into a hug.

Ben will see if he can help him get some gigs in Pittsburg or Philly. He can also try and help them get a wonderbread truck. Absorborate anti vibration hardware with Sorbathane pads.

Peter chats with his band about us and how we tend to be a bit enthusiastic about our help. He speculates that Cyrillo and I are from outer space and that we are going to pimp out their truck to be from Transformers. He gives a very interesting assessment of me and my tendency to build things. The drummer thinks it would be epic.

Cyrillo and I discuss the changes to make the truck.

Lunchtime
Ellie receives a pink rose and a drawing from Ethan. Then she babbles like a brook powered by Niagra Falls. They did dinner and movie.

Ethan’s father was transferred here and offered more money, better hours, and moving expenses

We arrive in a stretch limo arranged by my parents. Everyone meets at the house.

The prom goes well. No random attacks, arrivals, or disasters. Probably because Mom was hovering overhead, daring someone to mess with her.
