June 3rd, 2011. All the news seems to talk about is a radical group of extreme cultists who call themselves ‘The Rend’ or “The Rendering”. Their leader Jasen Brookfield proclaimed on a regular basis that the end of the world is drawing near, as the ancient Mayans predicted. Very few actually believed this, so The Rend members began terrorizing small towns and villages in the Middle East and South America. It is believed that the Jasen Brookfield is merely an alias, for there are no records for him under that name.

Before the End of June, South America and several countries in the middle east asked both Russia and the United States of America for assistance. Neither country openly agreed to help. However, the Navy had just finished developing an experimental Bio-weapon. As did Russia. Both countries saw this as an opportunity test it. Neither country communicated with each other before launching their experimental weapons, and then disaster struck. The Russians monitored the situations and saw an increase in chaos, and were unable to control the situation so they nuked the towns they were trying to control, and that was supposed to be the end of things.

July 2, 2011. Pensacola Florida. There was a major science convention that was hosting scientists from around the world. One of the experiments, from the outside perspective caused a impenetrable bubble around the building, fast forwarding time inside the sphere by approximately a month.
During that time, mass panic and chaos broke out across the world, and bad continuously became worse. However the rioters are not your every day rioters, for they seem to be impervious to pain, and continue to overrun the police, even the world’s Military forces are hard pressed to maintain their bases.
