Mira is a farm girl, of about 19 years, from northern Golnir. However, there is more to her than meets the eye…somehow she was able to withstand the mental intrusions of a formidable purple dragon, while her fellow villagers had their minds destroyed. Beyond that she is quite fetching in appearance, she has a beautiful and melodic voice, and she is quick both to laugh and to smile.

Marion has no family to speak of. She never knew her father, and her mother disappeared when she was still young. Sher remembers traveling often with her mother, from town to town and village to village. Her mother left Marion in a dry place one night, in the city of Metriciens, as she had often done before. Yet this time her mother did not return, and Marion has not heard of her since. She was found by city guardsmen, and put into an orphanage. She left after a year of time there and resumed the wandering lifestyle she had known with her mother. That is how she came to be captured by Mithdrak, the village where she was sleeping was overcome by Mithdrak’s mental powers, as was Marion herself until she woke up. Then she was somehow the only person able to resist, as far as she knew. She was careful however, to pretend otherwise, for she had seen the dragon eat some of the villagers, and she did not want to be eaten herself.
