Description
Tehla is a beautiful specimen of a white dragon. Though there seems to be something more to her, her scales almost seem to shimmer as they catch the light, flashing through a whole spectrum of colors, but only for a mere instant at a time.
Bio
Tehla the is the daughter of Grimsbane. She was hatched by her father and he raised her harshly for some time, in the nation of Atticala. He taught her that Dragons are superior to, and stronger than, any other beings. He instructed her also that mercy is weakness, and if you are merciful you are doomed. He died when she was still very young.
When her keep was overrun, her forces obliterated, and she herself bested; by three mere mortals (who then allowed her to live, on the condition that she return all her treasure), it changed her life. It shattered the teachings of her father. These three mortals had beaten her and then let her live! She could no longer believe that what Grimsbane had taught her was true. She then renounced the ways of her kin, even refusing to ever again consume another living being.
After leaving her keep Tehla spent some time in a serious confusion, trying to reconcile her father’s view of the world with what had happened to her. Then she came upon Skios, and she saw the wonders that these humans could achieved. This solidified the radical change in her world view, she saw what these human’s were capable of, such creation and beauty; and what her father was capable of, pure and simple destruction; and she judged them side by side. She chose at that moment to renounce the ways of her kin. And deep within her heart of hearts, at that moment she knew that, more than anything else, she wanted to be one of these humans, these people that could build and create such beauty. She tried to enter the city, but was met with arrow and spear, she barely escaped with her life. Then she ran off, in a fit of sorrow, she fled deep into the mountains. She spent a good deal of time there, eating rocks and dirt to survive; fighting foul monsters, such as orcs or ogres, that often desired her horde or her flesh; and reading the written words, everything from personal letters to grand histories, of the humans who had built the keep she stole. Finally she set off to somehow accomplish her quest. She decided to sail across the sea, and that is when she came across a fleet of ships, one of which she recognized, and upon that ship she landed…
