Backstory

The Chronicles of the Dawn War is a four volume set of books. The First volume told of the Primordials’ creation of the world itself, in its raw form. The Second book spoke of the Gods’ shaping of Akaron and the creation of the mortal races. The Third and Fourth tomes chronicled the war itself. Following the Dawn War, the races of Akaron gathered their wisest and ablest chroniclers and scholars to compile a complete history of the war. Once they had written it they presented it to the gods as a gift. The gods put the books into Khordradjheim, the worldly home of Moradin and Kord, for safe keeping. For there was no safer stronghold in all of Akaron, or perhaps even all the multiverse. It was from there that the Third Volume was stolen…
