Simone is the owner of the Black Ale. It is said that she won the tavern in a card game some years ago and decided that being a tavern owner was safe. There are all sorts of rumors that swirl about Simone, the most persistent rumor is that she was the was the leader of the Red Pirates, a notorious pirate group.

She laughs off the rumors. She is in her early forties but you could not tell by looking at her. She has copious thick black hair and a slim figure. She is a shameless flirt but if the person goes too far, she is more than willing to put the pursuer down.
