Wyrd Days

The real inspiration for my character

While I described my character as Indiana Jones meets Iron Fist, there was another description in the back of my head the whole time. An American version of Jackie Chan’s “Condor” from the movie Operation Condor (which was actually called “Armor of God II: Operation Condor” overseas). Long story short, his character is Kung Fu Indiana Jones. Imagine my horror when I read the following today on Yahoo.

Jackie Chan retiring from action.

But then I look up the movie that’s going to be his last action role, Chinese Zodiac and realize he’s going out w/ a bang, making a final sequel to what I consider one of his top 3 movies all time. It’s going to be a globetrotting relic hut for artifacts relating to the Chinese Zodiac WITH KUNG FU!!! So, as a tribute to the great one’s last action movie, I think I’m going to play up the fast martial artist aspect a bit more and am considering changing from a strong hero to a fast one. Man, I can’t wait for 12.12.2012 now :)

Okay, not sure how the Battlemind advanced class fits this character concept. There is a Martial Artist advanced class that sounds closer to your concept.

Honestly I was just geeking about the movie a bit, the concept is before he finds the mystic relic that unlocks his ki abilities, which is going to be represented by the battlemind stuff.
