It was the dawn of a new millennium. People feared the Y2K bug was going to cripple all of the World, that all the technology would cease to work, and Earth would be pitched back to the dark ages. But at the stroke of midnight in the year 2000… nothing happened. Technology worked like it did the day before, just like it worked the day before that. Everyone’s fears were for nothing. People celebrated, toasted to the new millennium, kissed loved ones or the one they would love that night, drank champagne, and forgot about the past.

I am the Watcher, and I do not forget. I observe and make note of what I see. And what I know will be revealed to you in time. There are things about your World you do not know. If you were paying attention you might know what I am talking about. Tomorrow the World will know what I know. What will happen I cannot foretell, but only observe as I have done for over three millenniums. And it all begins tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a brand new day.
