Guadalupe grew up in LA, and also had dreams of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood or the Hills versus the barrio where she lived. A daydreamer, she had a tendency to being a lackluster student, though she did seem to retain her Catholic theology fairly well. When she was 14, she ran away. She didn’t know where she was going, and after considering her options, she hitched a ride out to the desert. She never really ended up on the street, instead managing to get a job as a waitress before she started dancing in the clubs under a fake ID. She never looked back. She doesn’t necessarily like stripping for the tourists and the crooks, but it can be a nice living, particularly when supplemented by relationships with some of the men who ogle her. Indeed, she has grown used to a certain standard of living from her never-ending stream of boyfriends.
Which brings her to where she is now. She started dating a guy named Miloslav Hlavaček, largely because he was fairly well-off, and stayed with him even after she learned that he was a drug dealer. That didn’t really phase her, so long as the money kept coming. However, she was approached by Vidal Abandonato, and fell for him very quickly (in retrospect, she doesn’t even see anything odd about this). Despite the fact that he only visits her occasionally and doesn’t quite support her the way Miloslav did, she loves him and would do anything for him.
Of course, a couple of slashers broke her neck. That’s the end of that chapter.
