Jin grew up in Jing Guo with her parents and grandmother. Around age 3, she started having fits – like seizures. The doctors weren’t afraid to put her through hundreds of tests to try to find out what it was. It was determined she had an overactive nerve disorder. In the efforts to “fix” her, the doctors only made her condition worse. Her parents found she knew more than she should about their thoughts, so they told the doctors, hoping they could find a solution to the emotional damage being wrought. It took many years, but they saw that the hospitals were doing more harm than good, and that Jin was only becoming more detached. Jin had some peace after they relocated to Saga. Both of her parents were killed fighting the Alliance, and she lived alone with her grandma until about two years ago. She left Saga and the bad memories, but still visits her grandma on occasion.
