If she doesn't like you, she'll cut you. She might even cut you if she does.
Half-human, half-elf mercenary/assassin with a wicked sword and some small unrealized magic potential.
Ritta was born in a small farming hamlet near the keep of Eckterton, one of the many half-elven children her “mercurial, passionate” elf father left in his wake. Her mother died in childbirth and Ritta was left to the care of her grandparents, who regarded their charge as an unwelcome reminder of the tragic loss of their daughter and the wild elves whom they (like the rest of their small community) mistrusted.
As a result, Ritta grew up to believe the best defense is a good offense.
Having never spent time with her Elvish kin, she’s never learned to control the minor magic that is her birthright. Instead she learned to fight with words and blows, and to get out while the getting is good. She left home at fourteen and fell in with a roving band of sellswords, but Ritta wasn’t content to be just another camp follower. She learned swordplay from any who would teach her, and by the time she was twenty she had mastered the art. A few years later she parted company with the band and went out on her own, and whispers of her name began to stir around a bevy of high-profile assassinations in the Court of Galerion.
If you have the coin, you’ll have your kill.
