Arden “Moon Maiden” Dalton was raised by her mother in a middle class home in Oregon. Arden’s mother was aware of her heritage,and feared that Arden would manifest her Garou blood. Those fears proved justified when Arden underwent her first change while on a hiking trip in the Cascades. Arden’s mother awoke to find her daughter sitting in a clearing where she assumed her Crinos form and was growling. Other Garou in various forms materialized out of the shadows,and escorted Arden away. Arden’s mother never said a word,knowing that her daughter’s destiny lay elsewhere.

Arden returned to her mother several months later and resumed her former life,though she was not the same young naive girl. From time to time,Arden would disappear,and this became accepted between mother and daughter. Ultimately Arden graduated both high school and college,and began teaching philosophy at a private school in the Cascades. She also pursued studies in Tai-Chi and meditation techniques.

Arden doesn’t speak much of her Rite of Passage,but her spirituality and connection to Luna were infinitely intensified by the Rite. She often stares at the moon when contemplating difficult problems,and frequently awakens from these “trances” with answers to dilemmas. Her Garou name stems from the way that the moon seems to have spiritualized her beyond her years. When not seeking advice for the pack, Terra tends to be found in the Umbra seeking paths to Luna herself.

In many ways Arden is a typical Child of Gaia. She is introspective and highly spiritual,and very philosophical. Arden strives to maintain a balance within herself in hopes of restoring balance to the world at large. She doesn’t speak much,and she is reluctant to give advice,preferring that others find their own answers within. When she does speak up;others listen to her,for her words are usually balanced and wise. Although it is difficult to get Arden to battle when she does she is relentless and merciless.

Arden is rather average looking slender woman in her late 20’s. She dresses in soft earth-tones and embroidered jeans-generally comfortable clothing. She often wears necklaces made from chrystals and pewter. Her Lupus form is a thin gray wolf.
