Bandits have been raiding caravans coming to and from the town of Kestone. Newly charged with the well being of the fledgling town the Broken Dawn thought it fit to attend to the matter personally. The task seemed simple enough, head out on the main road, find the bandits and kill them, a task not entirely unfamiliar to the broken dawn. However today’s adventure would take an unexpected turn for the worse.

Commandeering a pair of wagons the group readied themselves to be ambushed traveling alongside the the road. A bit of the way out they the Broken Dawned encountered four men accompanied by three hunting dogs. push came to shove blows were exchanged. However a volley of arrows caught the bandits off guard, their leader Ramano Harskel to his surprise found something of interest, Leon. Ramano immediately commanded his entire team to collect Leon’s head. He briefly managed to call in a trio of archers before being knocked unconscious by Celeste.

The battle went on for a bit, flaming pimp slaps were exchanged before a group of Paladins traveling to Kestone wondered into the situation. Gerard Bateson a follower of Bahamut, his associate M’darr Greenstrider a paladin of Pelor along with a pair of initiates dove into the fray quickly dispatching the bandits with divine magic and cold steel. Meanwhile Leon had crippled a bandit before darting in to the woods to deal with the archers up north, Celeste had the same idea. Turns out the archers were kind of bad ass and knocked Celeste unconscious however she bought the rest of our heroes enough time to finish up the bandits by the roadside and work their way north.

After a brief rest and an exchange of pleasantries between the party and their new paladin friends It became apparent that Gerard and Celeste already knew each other. Strangely enough it turns out M’darr had a preexisting relationship with the curiously absent Leon… who according to M’darr was an inhumanly evil abomination who needed to die. The Broken Dawn had elected to disagree with that sentiment, at a ideological impasse the two groups elected to return to Kestone with their prisoners and resolve the situation regarding archer in question.

Apparently Leon had disappeared within the confines of Kestone. While Varioth and Celeste dropped their prisoners off at the barracks they were lucky enough to spot Leon, hiding… somewhere. After a brief and futile conversation the duo tried to take Leon to the M’darr, with ease Leon evaded the two forcing them to chase him all around town. Running out of places to hide Leon tried the inn. Unfortunately for Leon M’darr was right there waiting for him.

Will Leon escape the clutches of his rage fueled pursuer. Who are the Harskel and what do they want with Leon. Why does one unfortunate man have so many enemies. Next time…

With the battle over and done with The Broken Dawn made their final round about of the city. Stopping by Reggie’s artifact vender first the crew left Varioth and Reggie to to appraise the massive haul of treasure while Shedinn, Celeste and Leon purchased a speak dead ritual performed on Baron Adrien’s head. Making the best of their two questions first they asked about the mysterious man they encountered in the hidden prison. Adrien revealed the man’s name was Zacchaeus and that he was working with a powerful demon to further strengthen himself. He confronted and killed Baron Adrien in order to take from him the power Adrien had secured. The second question was a bit more personal… Celeste inquired into the connection between Adrien and Malik. To her surprise Adrien had place an assassination order on Malik’s head. The head crumbled to bits leaving any other questions unanswered.

Stopping by Trahand’s on the way back to the docks the group received two kegs of fine Dwarven ale. By the time the group reunited with Varioth him and Reggie had finished appraising the ruin artifacts. The total haul came to an obscene 1,500 gold a piece. Paid, promoted and poster boys the Broken Dawn headed for their newly acquired town of Kestone.

Meeting with the temporary Steward Theodore Bentley who has been running the the town since the passing of the last Steward. Theodore brought our heroes up to speed on the current situation in the town. New arrivals grew by the day, a camp ground had been built on the south side of the town to alleviate the pressure to no avail. The first order of business was to hold interviews for new government positions to accommodate for the increasing population. Shortly afterward plans were in motion to pull the newly formed town in to greatness. Taking advantage of the towns abundant natural resources was a logical first step, commissioning two lumber mills to employ the new workers. Shortly afterwords once the mills were finished they would be shortly be followed by beefing up the docks along with some boats, then reinforcing the road to the docks and finally branching out the farmlands. Theodore was happy to learn he would continue to serve as the town Steward for the time being.

The crowd was on edge as the Daglish imposter gave his speech condemning our heroes for the death of Marshal LaRoque. With the booming voice of the fiercest Eladrin warlords Varioth challenged the doppelganger, calling a liar. The crowd fell silent around him with shock and awe, the plan had worked perfectly. As the guards closed in on Varioth Celeste used the distraction to slip by the guards unseen and up to the doppelganger. In the flash of eye she buried the Shapechanger’s Sorrow into his unsuspecting back revealing him for what he truly was. With the truth revealed all that ensued was utter chaos. Purple smoke and flashes sizzled through the air as the king made his escape only exciting the crowd which devolved into a riot into a matter of seconds.

As the forces of Maycon met the doppelgangers bodyguards, the rest of the Broken Dawn joined in the fight as well. Shedinn leaped up to the platform with Celeste, the doppelganger and several bodyguards setting them aflame indiscriminately. The fight waged on, the Shapechanger’s Sorrow was lost to strange magic and the Broken dawns enemies fell one by one. Everything was going fairly until the doppelganger used magic crystal to summon a strange creature of the abyss that turned on the crowd.

As most of the party focused on the doppelganger and his allies Varioth slipped away to rescue Destiny’s Edge as they stood helpless at the gallows. As he released Walsh he noticed something rather disconcerting… The gallows had been lit ablaze as he stood on them. But with some help from Farrell Walsh and a well placed arrow to Garret’s noose Varioth and Destiny’s Edge escaped the burning platform relatively unharmed before rejoining the other fight.

The doppelganger was on its last leg, in a last act of desperation it leaped forward skewering her through the chest nearly killing her, the doppelganger wasn’t as lucky. Fortunately Orsik was near by and able to administer aid to the dieing, pulling her from the grasp of the Raven Queen yet another time. As the last of the dissenters perished the ravenous demon met his end at the blade of Thomas Everheart the galant young hero the Broken Dawn spent the last few days rescuing.

Getting a moment to rest the party was summoned before King Reamus Tillen who was grateful for their services to Maycon. Each member of the Broken Dawn was granted land and Lordship in a newly formed township, a gift which sent Varioth into a frenzy of joy. Each member’s imaginations filled with ideas for what could be built at their whim, churches, banks, brothels the sky was the limit. After straightening things out with the king, asking about vampires and the like The party headed to Firestorm, returning Trahand’s magical axe that caused this entire adventure to begin. Afterwards the party headed to the knaves mug and got considerably more drunk than usual, drunken hugs were exchanged.

What waits for the broken dawn on the road to their next adventure? Only time will tell…

Adventure Log #16

April 17, 2012 00:47

Finished looting the secret prison Together Destiny’s Edge and The Broken Dawn returned to Farendium with Thomas Everheart in tow. Arriving at the Docks The groups parted ways going about their business as usual. The Broken Dawn Popped in to Firestorm for a bit and Varioth had an enchantment placed on his armor, coincidentally The Gallegos had managed to patch up thier relationship with Trahand, although the axe was still nowhere to be found.

Shorty afterward the Leon begrudgingly accompanied by the rest of the group located a nearby ritualist. However Celeste found it somewhat suspect when Leon ask for a Speak With Dead ritual, revealing that he had actually kept the severed Lich head, to her dismay. After the reveal of Leon’s treachery the group split up. Shedinn, Orsik and Varioth headed off to the post office to check their mail while Celeste dragged Leon back to a private room at The Knaves Mug. Celeste demanded Leon tell her everything he Knew about Baron Adrian… which unfortunately amounted to next to nothing. The group reunited and rested briefly before attending their next meeting with Thomas.

That night the market was devoid of life, Spare our five heroes searching for their hard won ally. When all seemed just too peaceful Celeste found a note marked with a familiar insignia, the night bird. The other side of the parchment revealed a note that was short, to the point and chilling “Stay under cover, You are wanted”. As if on cue the fort off in the distance sprang to life with sirens. People flooded out into the street, all flowing towards city hall. From a balcony Lord Tabor delivered the news, Field Marshal LaRoque was assassinated… And Destiny’s Edge is to blame.

By tomorrow morning King Reamus would be arriving to oversee the execution of Farrel Walsh as well as promote First Lieutenant Daglish to the rank of Field Marshal. So our heroes only hand a few hours to choose a course of action. Assorted plans were floated amongst the group, anything from sewer infiltrations to lighting the docks on fire, nothing was too stupid to be ignored. Fortunately enough Karen Kathaway found our heroes and led them into a nearby bar. Apparently Leslie Keach had been drowned, LaRoque had been dead for days and their would be assassin has been executed.

Suddenly Kathaway doubled over and started convulsing. With quick thinking and an advanced knowledge of medicine Orsik shoved his fingers down the dying women’s throat, causing her to vomit up the poison she had drank. A brief look around the room revealed an assassin had made an attempt on her life. Without hesitation the group gave chase weaving in between obstacles gaining on the assailant with every step, after several minutes the chase came to an end as Leon caught the assassin on the roof of a nearby building. After some brief distress about the fact that Leon had the foresight to carry manacles with him the would be assassin revealed the location of a warehouse where his employer would hide out. Not having much else to work with our heroes decided to investigate the new lead.

Arriving at the warehouse the party snuck up to a parallel rooftop unnoticed. With the aid of a well placed grappling hook throw they were on top of the warehouse with no one the wiser. A brief investigation via the skylight revealed a magical security orb. Being the only fully qualified team magic guy Varioth was lowered down to the orb where he disarmed it. Further investigation into the warehouse revealed both Trahand’s replica earth splitter axe as well as the piece it was based on, A Shapechanger’s Sorrow. It was becoming apparent that the party was dealing with a shape shifter of some sort. Their fears were only cemented when they found a Maycon officer’s uniform and Daglish’s journal. Something disguised as Daglish was the mole… and about to become the right hand of the king.

Newly armed with an anti shape shifter weapon and a potential target, the group waited for morning. Their plan was to reveal the traitor at the most dramatically appropriate time at the collective execution of Destiny’s Edge. However arriving at the execution grounds introduced some new problems. The grounds were covered with thirty plus guards and a particularly important guest of honor. King Reamus himself. Will The Broken Dawn expose the military traitor? Will they be able to save Destiny’s Edge before their inevitable deaths? Will the presence of the king complicate this already delicate situation? Find out in the stunning conclusion next week.

March 27, 2012 00:05

Heading down to the third floor our heroes found it to me more punishing than the last. trial after trial they persevered. Frozen spears, acid pits, flooding cells, one after another they briefly challenged the Broken Dawn only to fail just as their predecessor. Amongst the spears was a cure light wounds potion.

After surpassing each of the dungeons traps our heroes decidedly left no stone unturned and check the last remaining room. Inside awaited three rust monsters looking upon the armor laden Shedinn as if he were a feast for their kind. The group unable to use their weapons without the risk of loosing them resorted to magics and fist fighting for the most part… Leon continued to use his bow as usual. Fortunately all that was lost was Shedinn’s spare greatsword. Narrowly avoiding disarmament, our heroes and their newly rescued associates again delved deeper into perilous cavern.

Down deeper the once man made dungeon gave way to natural cavern like formation. Deep into the lair resided a stone alter flowing with arcane energy. Before anyone had a chance to apraoch the alter Shedinn spotted a giant centipede. Not giving their new foe a chance to get the drop on them the Broken Dawn sprung into action unleashing a fury of force comparable to a small army, riddled with arrows, flung to massive heights and sent crashing back down to the rocks bellow, flayed by cold steel. Within mere moments of rearing it’s ugly head, nothing but a bloody pulp remained of the centipede. Shortly afterward Varioth managed to activate the lift and bring the party back to the first floor where they began.

Reaching the top floor they encountered a massive goblin named Gorok and a mysterious man with pale skin and short blonde hair. The mystery man stood aside and allowed Gorok and his followers an opportunity to slay the Broken Dawn… To no avail however. With relative ease the party slayed Gorok and his minions as Destiny’s Edge fought through a mass of goblins to reach the same chamber. However as the rest of the party put an end to Gorok Celeste was deeply focused on the pale mystery man. She swung her scythe at him with a fury comparable to the mightiest barbarian berserkers but to no avail, he evaded every swing as though it was a merely a minor annoyance.

As the battle ended the mystery man addressed the party claiming he knew everything about them and had an interest in their continued success. Additionally he brought a “gift” for Leon. As if reaching into nothing he plucked a bag from the air and revealed it’s content’s… The severed head of Baron Adrien of Gloomwrought, the city’s Lich overlord and Leon’s former employer. The man also informed Celeste that Adrien was also indirectly responsible for her broken heart. At a loss for what to do they informed Destiny’s Edge of the situation and took stock of the massive piles of loot left by the goblins.

Who is the mysterious man? What is the connection between Baron Adrien and Celeste? And what could he possibly want with our heroes? Next time on The Cost of Valiance…

Adventure Log #14

March 19, 2012 20:19

After boldly clearing the field of spear traps our heroes again pushed forward, Time slipping through their fingers with every moment. They happened across a hallway, walls bristling with narrow slots, a quick jab to the ground with Leon’s newly acquired ten foot revealed periling path of pendulum shaped blades. Rather than waste their precise time on this precarious predicament the party took preference in following an alternate path downstairs.

Deeper down into the dungeon revealed multiple paths. Taking initiative Shedinn lead the party north revealing a mass mass grave of web covered skeletons. Leon, having a reasonable amount of experience with such thing was able to determine that these weren’t merely cobwebs but instead the webs created by massive spiders which had likely feasted on the corpses. As a safety measure Shedinn doused the webs in his dragon breath, vaporizing the webs and blackening the bones the bare bones they had bound. Celeste didn’t object to this.

Further inspection of the room revealed a hole in the ceiling leading back up to the previous floor, revealing a hallway tucked halfway through the pendulum laden hallway. Retreating back from this new dead end the party decided to head south. After a brief walk they happened upon a door, the door seemed strangely intact compared to all the other ones the party had encountered. a brief examination revealed that the door was indeed rigged with a trap of some sort. With some clever planing and a length of rope the devious door trap exploded harmlessly against the opposite wall.

As the dust cleared five men came surging from the now agape orifice of what was once a door. To thee party’s surprise Thomas was among them. Apparently goblins have been running the prison simply dropping people down the entrance hole and leaving them for dead. Paul was killed before he was even sent in meaning that all that was left to do was meet back with Destiny’s Edge, blow the prison and retreat back to Farendium with Thomas in hand, but strangely the other prisoners wanted proof of the party’s skills before trusting them with an escape. The challenge included surmounting a lightning trap and slaying the foretold spiders. The lighting trap was disabled with relative ease mad sprints and precarious leaps carried the party past the deadly conduit of lighting induced death leading them to the spiders. For what the spiders had in stealth and numbers they lacked in durability quickly falling one after another.

The trap disabled and the monsters slain the party headed back to the prisoners to let them know the deed was done. Leon took a few minutes to better investigate the hall guarded by the pendulums. inspired by his previous success dodging lighting he attempted a jump, wall run combination which allowed him to clear the blades and proceed. In the dead end room he found of a massive monster skeleton, a short sword, hide armor, a magic potion and five gold. Reuniting with the party he armed Thomas with his recent plunder and the ten began their next leg of the journey, down deeper in this near hopeless pit of death. But off in the distance and explosion could be heard, not able to do anything about though they press on.

What was the mysterious explosion? What terrors are waiting for them down bellow? And will they be able to escape the subterranean prison? Find out next time…

Adventure Log #13

March 15, 2012 00:54

After sorting out their altercation with the town guard our heroes reunited with Varioth and headed down to the local jail. Given direct involvement with the assailant the party was denied access to him. The notion of bribery was briefly floated as an idea to but ultimately the offending crossbowmen went unspoken to. Again empty handed the group headed to their meeting with Rico.

Upon reaching The Knave’s Mug the group spoke the code and they were let in the back room they had previously used. To their surprise along with Rico was Farrel Walsh and his mercenary band Destiny’s Edge. Walsh and Rico revealed that there’s a high ranking mole in Maycon’s military. Apparently Drenin has established a secret prison in Lock-loyal forest that is currently housing Thomas as well as a large blonde hammer wielding man named Paul. The plan was to smuggle everyone out of town by boat and then blow up the prison with alchemical explosives… Shedinn was a bit preoccupied thinking about lobster and Alfredo. The party headed out to the docks after picking up a 10 foot poll.

The dock was covered by guardsmen and magical wards. Being noticed by a single guard would compromise their entire plan. With Celeste’s vigilance, Varioth’s immense knowledge of magic and Leon’s near invisibility somehow the group perceived and managed to sneak Shedinn through unnoticed. After a few days trip the party met with Walsh’s side kick Ginger who had scouted the prison before hand.

Delving into the dark subterranean dungeon, The Broken Dawn and Destiny’s Edge split up each taking a different path The Broken Dawn headed right. To their surprise they found a all they found was a 45 degree slope leading down to a pit. After Leon scouted it out to make sure it was safe the rest of the party descended down the hole, no way to turn back now they pushed forward. Within a few minutes of entering the lower floor the party came across some sort of frost runes that were lowering the temperature, with mere ours the cold would begin to effect our heroes. Pushing forward the party discovered the purpose of the runes, facilitating a hospitable environment for various ice monsters.

All sorts of exotic things inhabited this ice box of a prison, massive frost bats, icy monsters that seemed to bleed water, poison spewing mushrooms, sentient slime, all thirsting for our adventurer’s blood. First the came the bats and the ones that bled water, fighting them in such an enclosed space made the battle considerably more dangerous. The mushrooms were a a bit easier, only requiring a generous application of alchemical acid. The slime monster however ravaged the party quite efficiently, fortunately the party triumphed over the strange foe. After taking short rest the party and stitching their wounds the part headed on to the next room. The following room was laden with a vast assortment of spear traps identified by Celeste. Varioth teleported ahead to try disarming the control box, but ultimately couldn’t disarm the trap lacking the necessary skills in the art of thievery. Ultimately Leon had to try leaping the trap and getting skewered in the process, alive but worse for weir he was able to disarm the trap allowing everyone else to pass.

What will the next area of this dungeon hold for our heroes?, how much ground has Destiny’s Edge managed to cover?, will Thomas and Paul live to see their rescue? The adventure continues…

Adventure Log #12

March 05, 2012 20:10

The group left a note for “Billy” and made there way for the richer part of town searching for towers, not making much progress on that front they checked with Aaron Carson for leads… He was unfortunately equally unhelpful.

Pursuing a different leads Orsik and Shedinn went to investigate Rico and the survivors of the Ambush Incident while Celeste and Leon went to meet with Karen Kathaway. As Orsik and Shedinn dug through the medical ward they discovered that almost the entire staff for the ward had been transferred out and there was no record of the survivors ever being there. Checking into the records department they found inconsistencies reporting that the survivors were dead and Rico was a wanted deserter with his file sealed.

Meanwhile Celeste and Leon learned that Kathaway was a nervous wreck expecting convinced that she was being followed. She let Celeste and Leon know about the very strong possibility of dissent amongst the military and referred them to a competent clerk who could dig up files for them. afterwords they headed back to the Lazy Fox to meet up with Orsik and Shedinn.

At the Lazy Fox the party reconvened and choose their next course. However something unusual happened… Shedinn found a note in his bag warning the group to stay out of the ever deepening conspiracy. Disregarding the warning they group separated again checking Fort Iron Fox and Firestorm to see if either was the mysterious tower referenced in the letters. While neither group was particularly successful Ender had however manged to just about finish enchanting Celeste’s scythe and was able to reunite it with her. Empty handed yet again the group turned in for the evening.

The following morning the met with Warrant Officer Leslie to ask her about Rico’s sealed file. Assorted questions were asked and eventually she matched The hand writing on the letter left in Shedinns bag to Rico’s. Osrsik briefly inquired into a “Sorik” briefly before leaving. After the shocking revelation the group headed up to the jail and picked up a copy of Rico’s wanted poster. Upon meeting with Aaron Carson again to see what he news about Rico, apparently he had been spotted at the market recently. Taking Aaron’s advice the group decided to check the market.

Almost immediately upon entering the market a crossbow bolt flew mere inches past Shedinn’s head embedding itself in a near by stand. As if on instinct Leon spun around and returned fire crippling the assailant where he stood. Out broke a massive panic guards flooded in, sweeping up the crossbowmen and whisking him away before we could speak with him. As quick as the incident began it was over. After a brief chat the guardsmen sent us on our merry way. After a brief discussion the party decided to go back to the jail and talk with the prisoner. Without the slightest warning Rico appeared to the group again warning them to stay out of the way. With equally little success as his previous attempts he begrudgingly told the group to meet him later at The Knaves Mug.

Traveling ever faster down this river of deceit and lies the party has no choice but to follow the flow and see where it takes them. The adventure continues…

Adventure Log #11

February 20, 2012 23:53

After a long day most of the party had reunited at The Knave’s Mug, debating their next course of action. As if on queue Celeste stumbles in riddled with crossbow bolts and scorch marks. The group rented a back room for a few hour to sort the mess out. Apparently Celeste was asking too many questions about the magic axe, five assailants attacked her lamenting the waste of a quality female. With some difficulty in part to being unarmed at the time Celeste came out victorious after defeating two men, the third man cut his own throat and the other two ran , leaving behind a message “Leave the Subject alone.” and some form of flaming retribution, aka lighting the bodies on fire. Whether it was the axe from the ruins or Trahand’s duplicate they still don’t know, all they can be sure of is that those with the axe are willing to fight for it. Not being able to do much else at the time they returned to Fort Ironfox for the night.

The following morning the rest of the party checked in. Surprisingly another Letter from Thomas Thomas’s Second Letter was waiting for them. Apparently he wanted them to go to either The Lazy Fox Tavern or “Billy’s place”. Having a full day ahead of them they scoured the city looking for leads. First they went to the docks where Celeste was last night to inquire about the axe and anyone else who might have asked about it. With no luck they checked the scene of where Celeste was attacked. Varioth and Orsik utilized a “creative” distraction as Leon cased the scene to look for clues…Unfortunately to no avail.

Getting desperate they group headed to Firestorm to meet with Ender Gallego to gather whatever leads you could, as well as check the progress on Celeste’s Scythe. This visit yielded better results than the previous two. Ender seemed genuinely honest talking about the incident with the axe. He relayed to the party that the axe in question had an Earthbreaker enchantment on it, additionally Ender released the note in question for comparison with writing samples from Trahand and Jana helping eliminate them from the list of suspects. This new revelation strongly suggests the influence of a third party… But who? While Celeste’s scythe enchantment was ahead of schedule it was not yet complete. For now the party has decided to go meet with Thomas at the Lazy Fox Tavern.

Upon reaching The Lazy Fox the party ordered some some onion rings and waited a little while for Thomas. Getting impatient Orsik asked the bartender if he has seen Thomas. Shockingly enough Thomas hasn’t been seen in a week. The party briefly deliberate over a course of action the set out to go find “Billy Borden’s” house. Soon enough the group found Billy’s place. The first order of business was to break in to his mailbox where they found 3 notes: At the tower by nine, Small Breakthrough info is in the normal spot and Nightbird. Moving on to the house Leon picked the lock granting the party entree. After a brief search an alchemical acid trap was found and disarmed. The trapped room revealed several additional documents related to complaints filed by Karen Kathaway about military clerical errors, additional details about the recent regiment massacre and the four survivors. The party came to the conclusion that treachery existed withing the ranks of the military. After a brief debate on their plan of action The group left a note in the mailbox and decided to wonder around aimlessly looking for the mentioned tower.

Will our heroes find Thomas before it’s too late, will they manage to find the mysterious tower, will Celeste get her scythe back before she needs it. Find out next time…

Adventure Log #10

February 01, 2012 22:10

The past few days had gone by relatively smoothly. Reinforcements had arrived, damage to the town began to be repaired and the goblin menace had been wiped out. However Orsik received a letter addressed to The Broken Dawn when he was visiting the Riverside Supply. Apparently Thomas Everheart, a First Soldier of the Maycon military is seeking their help in Farendium. The coded note potentially eluded to treachery amongst the military’s own ranks. Conveniently enough the party was about to be transferred their anyway. The five saddled up on a wooden cart and began the trek to their next destination. Along the way Celeste continued to question passer’s by about the location of her vampiric nemesis.

Upon arriving in Farendium the group found their way to The Knave’s Mug, a local tavern where they expected to find their philandering associate. While no luck was had finding Thomas the party did happen across an information broker. After applying copious amounts of alcohol Orsik did manage to loosen the informants lips revealing some local rumors. Apparently an entire regiment had been slaughtered in a surprise attack from Drenin forces and that the few remaining survivor now reside in Fort Ironfox’s medical ward. Additionally a dispute over magical axe had arisen between Firestorm a local enchanter and The Iron Axe. Apparently both sides have accused the other of stealing the axe. The axe had apparently been based off of an ancient relic from the ruins.

Here the party slit ways. Shedinn headed of to the market to window shop for some new armaments, magic tattoos and mutton. Leon and Orsik went back to the fort where they checked in the group and relaxed for a while. Varioth and Celeste went to go investigate the case of the missing axe. The first place Celeste and Varioth investigated was Firestorm. The two grilled Jana Gallego about the incident. After learning her side of the story, Celeste left her scythe with Jana so it could be enchanted to murder people even more effectively… They didn’t abduct the enchanter.

Shortly afterward they headed to The Iron Axe and asked Trahand his side of the story. He claimed innocence just as the Jana did. After making a deal for some wing spears Celeste and Varioth split up. Varioth reunited rest of the group to head out in full force to find the missing axe. Celeste patrolled the streets looking for leads on the whereabouts of the axe, unarmed.
