With a simple exhalation, a monk can expend his energy into
the universe around him, allowing others to partake of it as
they wish. Any one selected individual within twenty feet when
this Kiho is activated gains a Void Point on their next Turn.
No target may benefi t from this Kiho more than twice per day.
SONG OF THE WORLD

By listening to the song of the elements around him, a monk
may perceive the universe slightly ahead of all others. You
must target an opponent within fi fty feet when activating this
Kiho, and succeed at a Contested Void Roll against him. If
successful, his Initiative Score is reduced by 5 and yours is
increased by the same amount.

concealed weapons, etc. Only you can see the presence of
these objects.

The air kami see very little difference between speech and
thought, and can perceive both with relative ease. By comparing
the two, the kami can determine if what has been spoken
is true, or a lie. Unfortunately, they have notoriously short
attention spans, and thus can only assess extremely recent
conversations. By invoking this spell, you may determine if
the last thing said by the target was true or false. The kami
have no concept of personal opinion, however, and if the target
truly believes what he said was true, the kami will believe
it as well

This spell, one of the few directly
protective prayers involving
the Fire kami, asks the kami to
protect one person, enveloping
the target in a shroud of bright
flames. Neither the target nor anything
he carries takes damage from
the spell, but anyone who comes into
contact with him or strikes him with a
melee attack takes 2k2 Wounds. Anyone the
target strikes in melee with an unarmed attack
or a weapon he carried when the spell was cast also
takes an extra 2k2 Wounds. Anything the target puts
down, however, cannot be picked back up without
subjecting it to the damage from the spell.
Ranged weapons such as arrows bypass this
barrier of fire, dealing Wounds as normal.
KATANA OF FIRE

You summon a blade of pure fire, blazing like the soul of an
honorable warrior. The weapon’s default form is a katana,
but one Raise can change its form to any other sword of your
choosing. The katana has a DR of 2k2. When wielding this
weapon, you may use your School Rank in place of your Kenjutsu
Skill if you wish. If you do possess the Kenjutsu Skill,
you add your Honor Rank to all damage rolls made with this
weapon. The katana of fi re disappears if it is lost from your
hand. Instead of summoning the katana for yourself, you may
cause it to appear in the hands of an ally within 20 feet. He is
treated as the caster for all purposes of the spell, but does not
gain the Honor boost to damage.

Energy fl ows through the universe just as water
fl ows through the mortal shell. You may send your
energy to another, weakening yourself and strengthening
them in the process. You may reduce any one of
your Physical Traits by an amount up to your School
Rank. The target of this spell increases the same Physical
Trait by the same amount. If your Trait is reduced to 0 as
a result of this spell, you immediately fall unconscious and
the spell’s duration is reduced to 1 round. No Trait may be
enhanced above double its normal rank by this spel

The most essential lesson of the ishiken is that all is linked
through the Void, and through the Void all can be perceived.
By focusing your energy, you can look through the veil and
see another location as if you were standing there. This location
must be familiar to you, and you must have been there
at least once before. For the duration of the spell, you can see
and hear all that transpires in the other location,
but you may not be detected and you
may not interact with things or individuals
there in any way. During this spell,
your body is in a trance-like state that
leaves you highly vulnerable to attack
(your Armor TN is reduced to 5)
SENSE VOID

Life is evident in the Void like the stars in the night sky. This
spell causes you to enter a trance during which you become
aware of the existence and location of all living creatures
within the radius of the spell. Although you are aware of their
location, you cannot see them or any details. You would know
if there were three humans waiting outside the castle wall,
for instance, but you would not recognize them other than
to know that they were present. This also gives you information
regarding non-sentient, natural living creatures. Spirits
and Shadowlands creatures are recognizable as a gap in your
awareness, although this spell cannot recognize Tainted humans
as anything other than humans.

KHARMIC INTENT

Links forged of the Void allow the passage of enormous energy,
the substance of the universe itself, between those who
share it. You may target any one willing individual with
this spell. All remaining Void Points either of you possess
are placed in a single pool, which either of you may draw
upon as normal. Essentially, this spell allows two individuals
to share Void Points back and forth as they see fi t. This also
allows ishiken to share the additional Void Points they gain
from other Void spells. At the end of the spell’s Duration, all
remaining Void Points are divided between the participants,
up to their normal maximum number.
Bio
Isawa Yukiko was a beautiful fire shuginja who could do void spells she was a bit hot headed who was married back 40 years before the sun disappeared she had 5 kids and one day out of being cocky she decided to call the void dragon not being humble like one should to a great dragon angered him but instead of just making her disappear he decided to make her go through the Karmic wheel but and force her to remember her own life 40 years later she was reborn as her own great grandchild
Isawa Rise childhood people were shocked with her powers with the Kami which was thanks to her past life as Yukiko she couldn’t remember her past name but that didn’t matter she was sent to the Isawa Shuginja school at the age of 4 and was taken back but quickly embraced the scrolls learning all she could her past life giving her the ability to use the void spells then the year of the war of the steal lion. Rise was so focused with studying she barely noticed the sun missing. During the general when she was about 10 school she met Isawa Morooka who claimed he was the best shuginja challenging Rise to a duel which she did and won walking away the very next day she met the void master and was accepted as his pupil. As soon as she was picked by him he told her to pack her bags she would travel with him to learn about the void being confused but understanding that he knew the best she packed her bags leavening with him she started traveling around Rokugion watching him and learning after a year of traveling they went back to Phoenix lands she went home for a day and talked with her parents.
The next day training started back up but they stayed in phoenix lands for 4 years and out of no were when Rise was 15 her Sensei told her to pack they were leavening again which Rise followed him there first stop Crain lands where she was taken aback by the beauty of the lands she got separated from her Sensei in the Kakita lands and ran into Kakita Youske watching him train for a while before the man noticed her and came talking to her soon they head to his house to see if his father had seen her Sensei. To both there shock he was there and announced that they were going to be married when they got older and without another word on the matter her Sensei told her that they must be ready to leave.
There next past through was Scorpion lands her Sensei kept them walking through where she met Bayushi Adachi who was mumbling and stopped bowing to her Sensei they talked and she noticed Adachi kept letting things slip which he would cover by saying something completely off the wall he also let them know that the road was closed that day thanks to a small landslide that it would be open the happy the young women though they would be able to sleep inside an inn which they never did but instead they slept outside to be one with all the elements. The next morning her sensei allowed her to spend time with but with the order to go to the temple where she ran into Adachi again Who let slip that the samurai over the lands was sick by mistake but then quickly decided it was better to make it sound like a joke after a few hours of praying she decided to spend the day with Adachi finding him funny with his slip ups and at the night her Sensei told her that they were leaving she waved goodbye to her friend
Once at the crab lands they went straight to the wall which terrified her what got her reprimanded by her Sensei reminding her fear is a sin which she calmed down he then told her to go to the wall to see what the Crab dealt with everyday as she walked up to look around she ran to a large Crab bushi who just started yelling at her for being there for no reason his name was Hida Kanji she tried to stammer out her sensei wanted her to but before she got the chance some of the shadow lands creatures attacked and without though she started to cast some prayers to help the solders earning Kanji’s respect after the battle Kanji told her that he was buying her a drink and she spent that day drinking with the loud Crab which caused her mostly to laugh seeing how the brave Crab were when they were off the wall she gained a massive respect for them.
The next day she left the crab lands and smiled she started to understand why she was forced to travel so much the next lands they stopped at was Lion lands she cringed at the sound of the gun shots she didn’t know why but it was like all the Kami was yelling at once her Sensei didn’t flinch and didn’t get onto her for that one he told her that today he had something to deal with and left quickly causing Rise to wonder around till she ended up at a Geisha house which she walked in somewhat smirking the vast difference between Crab and Lion she sat at a table as two men came up trying to test her honor which she kept ignoring one soon grabbed her arm and tried to force her outside as a Female Lion came up and began to kick there ass using Jujitsu sending them running for the hills when she calmed down she saw the Female who saved her and bowed. The females name was Matsu Chie who was cursing about how little honor people had now a day’s Rise seemed amused and offered her savoir a seat and talked to her after a bit Rise realized that Chie did not have a tactic mind but was strong so to her amusement she asked if she would like to play a game of go which Chie accepted and lost within three rounds within an hour the two women was shopping around just grabbing some nice things Chie bought Rise a kitten after a few days of shopping Rise’s Sensei came back grabbing her allowing her to keep the young cat.
The next few days was raining as they traveled to Mantas islands and today she had to go to court with her Sensei the head of the court was a weak willed Natsumi Nanatame who barley talked and would go with the side of whoever sounded stronger Rise actually pitied this man the court was not finished in one day so the next day going back Nanatame seemed mad at Rise who was confused at the end of it Nanatame left . At the end of the day they left for phoenix lands it had been five years since she saw them once home she was dismissed by her Sensei where she went home telling her parents about her travels sending a letter to everyone besides Nanatame that she was home
The next day her Sensei told her to to the Topaz Championship which she did not know that her journey began right then and there…

Bio
Adachi is a strange scorpion indeed he will not wear a mask and seems to always be slacking off. He is up to play with kids even peasant ones. He has not been bethroved to anyone since he is a black sheep to the scorpion he has a bad habit of letting information slip out even when not meaning to. He met Isaawa Rise when she was traveling with her sensei and talked to her letting out information of a rode being blocked that the scorpion didn’t want to be let out. He has never gotten in enough trouble to commit seppuku or be cast out as a ronin he is always willing to help.

Kanji perhaps personify the Crab he’s crude and lacks the Etiquette that other Samurai have he won’t even allow a duel if someone insults him he will just attack them not to the death even letting people know that duels are for pussies that don’t have the balls to get on the wall. HE met Rise actually on the wall as she was traveling with her Sensei and was told to understand why the Crab were hard people Kanji saw her not knowing her and seeing she wasn’t a Crab began yelling at her at the same time as a small band of Shadow land creatures came Kanji then told her that if she was going to be there to look she will help in this battle which she did earning Kanji’s respect because most the Samurai seeing the shadow land monsters for the first time freeze up

This man is one of Rise’s classmates he keeps calling Rise his rival and was pissed when the void master himself chose Rise as one of his students he will openly bad mouth Rise when he can even when she is not present something Rise just over looks as the rambling of someone who looks at others with Jealousy instead of what he has. He anytime seeing Rise will try to challenge Rise to a Shugenja duel for no reason other than to prove that he is better than her which Rise will not do out of pity of such a lowly man

Youske is bethroved to Rise he is a man who is strongly with the traditional way and flat out refuses to even think of guns a tool for Samurai finding anyone with one he automatically sees them beneath him which dose cause problems since some of the higher people do in fact uses guns he is quick to jump to conclusions as well he has the core Crain views of other clans he met Rise while she was traveling with her Sensei and talked to her not knowing that this was the women he was going to marry but since her Sensei talked to his father and convinced it the announcement came to a shock to both of them

Nanatme is a weak willed man and will often do what others command of him out of fear he dislikes Rise because of her strong will he will even bow to people of lower status of his own if they speak to him with a commanding enough voice. He met Rise traveling with her Sensei when they went through the town he was to watch over having a few moments to speak to them before her Sensei asked her to leave to speak in privet to the man
Matsu Chie

Bio
Chie is the type that can punch and kick very well but when it comes down to thinking she is at a lost she can understand plans but will never be able to make one herself or if she did there would be so many holes in it that a child could beat her in it. On the battle felid one should watch out against her though because in a fight she is almost unbeatable and her attacks are precise. She met Rise when again traveling with her Sensei at a Geisha house Rise who got the night off that night to meet people walked into the house to just enjoy some Saki and was focused on by some guys trying to test her honor which wasn’t working before the guys gave up they tried to pull Rise away Chie seeing this quickly came in and not evening allowing them a chance to draw a sword beat them senseless unarmed.
