Lana is a victim of betrayal, deceit, and a haunting family secret.
From a young age Orlana Geia was trained to worship a benevolent god and to follow in the church’s ways, allowing the faith to guide all of her actions. On the day of her birth she and her twin brother were separated in order to keep them safe from their evil father and she was raised as an only child with every comfort she could hope for with her Elven family. She is a half elf, a constant reminder that her father is human. At the age of 18 Lana was reunited with her brother and took part in a war with him against an evil human overlord that was laying waste to their lands.
Lana is a gifted warrior, quick and strong, with the ability to sneak up behind a man and slit his throat before he even knows she’s there. She was vital to the rebellion against the overlord. During the war she managed to fight her way to the front line in time to see her brother kill the human overlord, as he called out, “I’m sorry, Father.”
Finally Lana knew the dark secret that had kept her from knowing the truth about her family. Her father was not only a human, he was the overlord that had torn apart the land. She blamed her brother and his righteous devotion to the old, kind gods, and decided to change her path towards the worship of Asmodeus, as her father had done before her.
Lana was caught sneaking into her brother’s bed chamber with a sharp dagger, and she would have gotten away with it if her brother hadn’t been haunted by the spirits of his old gods. They woke and warned him before she could fulfill her sacrifice to her new god.
Her attempted murder led her to Grandascar. While Lana lives in fury of betrayal, she is devoutly attached to the ways of her god and has vowed to follow this new company as her new companions against the way of the faithful and supposedly honorable.
