Fine-Tune (died defending friends)

Description

Bio

Fine-Tune was created during the last three years of the great war. During this time the Warforged builds were being experimented with. The members of house Cannith wanted to see what else they could do to help the regiments and of Warfogreged that were being given more and more autonomy. The idea of a construct that can create other constructs was nothing new. Many artificers invested in dedicated wrights for themselves. However a construct that could invent and imagine new and different constructs was something all together different. Thus did Fine-Tune find herself led from the creation platform and put through not only the rigorous training all Warforged were “gifted” with but also that of the artificer. She was found to have a quick and deft hand in the creation of items and developed a habit of humming nonsensical tunes to herself. It was so striking that her name became a play on those two things by the humans who associated with her.

She still remembers the end of the war. Though she never was on the front lines, better to have her infuse, repair, and create in camp, the months of waiting and nothing happening was a restless time for her. It was here that with her mind not focused on new weapons, armor, or the maintenance of these things that her mind was able to wander and think about afterwards. She had seen disabled and destroyed Warforged but had never experienced this state herself. When the members of her race stopped functioning what did happen to them? Did they dream like the other races claim they do? What about bringing them back to life? Could they be raised as undead? It was these questions that turned Fine-Tune to the Elves of Aerenal. Having met many of the mercenaries of Valnar, but having no ancestors to embody, the Undying Court of Aerenal appeared to be the best way to finding the answers she sought.

She was able to gain access to the port city but was however rather quickly rebuffed in her direct attempts to join the ranks of the clerics there. Many of the elves were appalled that one such as she would even want anything do to with the Undying Court. However, many of the elves had at some point since the existence of the Warforged experienced some form of
Warforged infatuation with the Undying Gods. Fine-Tune was allowed to visit the temples and add her devotions to those of the true faithful. Fine-Tune was able to devote every moment to the pursuit of her goal. The Elves practice of making their living bodies to appear decaying and dead was something that she adopted. She changed her visage to that of symbol of the Undying court. So that all that see and look upon her might know what she is about. Though, she has never received a direct messaged for any member of the Court she has been able to manifest the powers of a cleric of one who worships it.

During her studies of the planes she happened upon a reference to a library that was run by constructs similar to inevitables. They sought out all knowledge and that was in fact their form of currency. If they collected any and all information perhaps they could have found some answer to the questions she sought. Upon her arrival she was able to gain entrance and access by recounting battles from the war and sharing some blueprints for some of the items she had created.

During her time there she ran across many different teachings on the afterlife and what would happen but nothing mentioning constructs or living constructs specifically. During her search she has come across a group of adventurers. She seem to be on some sort of quest. After they leave she is able to purchase more info on them and specifically the one called Josk. She decides that this it the person who maybe seeking what she wants and may, at least, be able to lead her in the right direction. She learns all she can about Josk and the approaches him to see if he would be willing to let her accompany him.
