James is a co-worker from Kendra’s days as an investigative reporter. He remains with the investigative team and occasionally relays information to Kendra. He is invaluable in terms of mundane or urban research and is pretty much the only contact and friend she has from that time. He’s personable and is not afraid to go a bit dark with his humour, but he is also nervous about what shady dealings his friend has gotten into.
