BioHouse Valdur was an early adopter of Erathis and as such has continued to consider her the Patron deity of the house. Other members of clan Loremark also revere her though more lean towards the draconic deities. Brost spent much of his youth in the various temples. Learning what he could of the religions. His inner shard is a glimmer of the faiths he believes must work together to strengthen the great concordance. In his mind a spacious amount of wilderness is needed just to supply the peoples of ever growing communities. Only with this unity can the community as a whole can defend itself against the beyond.
The teachings are obscure about many things. This is partly why Brost has set forth to explore. Perhaps along his journeys he can glean more into the workings of the divine. In the Valdur household now run by his mother all would work together to help the community of both house and city. The primary house in the city is entrusted to the Valdurs to keep secure in the events of invasion. The cottage is reasonably fortified and self sufficient for any extended siege. The storerooms almost never hold excess. Trading commodities allows the Valdur to always keep the supplies they have fresh and in proper working order. It is still rare though to have the Valdur to hold a meeting of the elders though occasionally the main room is “decked out” to handle such events.
The family estates are on the border of the dwarven canton of (-Juralt-) so the amount of rogue bands of monsters is low. The structure is a proper defense though at a funneling of mountain passes. This cottage as they call it is interconnected with tunnels and the surrounding lands provide many tradestuffs. Many of our extended family lives along the way to and from the cottage and Krall.
Training and mentoring was always priority for mother though father did push almost as hard. With the 7 children each requiring prolonged training and schooling the family coffers are not nearly as high full as they once were. Each Valdur finds within themselves remnants of the great family of old Arkosia. The Blood from mother’s family has awoken this desire in all of her children.
This fact is considered an auspicious sign that granted the house some small boost in the heirarchy. Over time perhaps the house will likely become the leader of clan Loremark mostly due to numbers. Many of those currently leading the clan are mired in the past and unwilling to press forward. The elders know many more secrets than Brost himself is aware. The potential to eventually have this knowledge at his disposal does drive Brost to seek knowledge out. The bringing of new majik’s or knowledges to the clan will boost all of its families.
