This world that I am creating has been designed so that I can experiment in combining both the fantasy genre and my Christian beliefs. This is not intended to be a copy of Tolkien or Lewis, though it inevitably will draw from the influences of both. My goal is to write a great story in which my Christian beliefs are not awkwardly forced into the story, but flow through it in as real a fashion as the “magic” flows through other fantasy stories. I do not desire to prosthelytize, but to inform and educate. My wish is that I can pass on wisdom and concepts found in the Bible through the art of writing. I know it seems that the fantastical and the Biblical should stay apart but careful examination of the Bible reveals many creatures and occurences that we would place firmly in the realm of fantasy, and in fact many humanists do. I do not expect anyone to read this book and fall to their knees in penance, but maybe something you read here will stick deep down inside of you and help change you for the better.
