Sessumon hails from house Ryumal, a tiefling merchant enclave along one of the trade routes of the astral sea. House Ryumal was once quite prosperous, but has lately fallen on hard times (due to the machinations of rival house Kel’Shet, among other things). Sessumon’s birth was heralded by violent magical storms which rocked the area for days, quelling upon his arrival. His psychic potential was recognized early on; he was groomed as a house diplomat, spending several years studying psionic dueling at a githzerai monastery, and several more being shuttled to various specialist instructors. Sessumon’s thirst for knowledge has led him to the Astral Star, where he hopes he can barter his skills for information…
