Rhomach Delgrish’s father Dromach was a renowned warrior who took part in incursions into the mountainous lands of the undead. He earned much praise from the local lord and stashed some coin away. On his last raid against the undead, his force was nearly wiped out. Dromach suffered a scratch from a zombie during the battle and when it was over, he returned home. Dying slowly from zombie rot and with no priest available to heal him, he made his son swear that he would join the local monastery of Whaythrad so that he would never suffer such a painful and cruel demise. Young Rhomach swore to his father to do just that. He also made the promise to destroy the zombie that his father would become. Rhomach inherited the large frame and strength of his father, but has done well with his studies in the priesthood, focusing much of his efforts to the art of healing and herbs as his father would have liked. He also has an intense hatred of all creatures undead. He wields the longsword of his father and yearns for the day he will wield it on the field of battle against the undead.

A group of travelers had arrived in town that day, and she told Rhomack and Aramas to accompany them and keep an eye out for anything unusual. If Rhomack noticed anything out of the ordinary, they should report to her. In the morning, the two of them are to meet Lord Atlroth, the local ruler in Saltbur, and the group of travelers by the docks…
