Dwarfy McGee has lived a simple life. Unlike many dwarves, he has spent his life above ground, living the life of a villager. His father was a blacksmith in a small village in the south of Brevoy. Unfortunately, his father was not a very good blacksmith, and not even the only one in the village (the other one was better too). True to form, his father was also very stubborn, and refused to give up on his trade. As a result, Dwarfy spent much of his childhood simply trying to survive with little to no coin, often times giving up his own chances for food and health for the sake of his parents and siblings (He is the oldest of several).
Unlike his stalwart father, Dwarfy has no attachment to his station in life, and has spent countless hours trying to improve himself, and training in the ways of combat. Rostland is a broad and sprawling place, making transportation and maneuverability difficult for a man of his stature. As such, he has taken to getting around on a simple pony. Despite his own desire for something greater than the lot of a poor blacksmith’s son, Dwarfy is not about to forget his humble upbringing, and he is more than aware of how hard life can be for common folk, especially the closer you get to the Stolen lands. Even if the stolen lands can be tames, there is no guarantee that the nobles who settle them will refrain from abuses of the farmers and villagers that serve them. The future is uncertain for the commoners of Brevoy, and Dwarfy McGee is dedicated to protecting them.
