Attack of the Gods

Attack of the gods

Heroes of Aurbouron

There is a flash from the stars. A small flash, but still a flash nonetheless. It is sunset, the time students get out of their college schools has already passed, but one is still open for 24 hours of learning or just a place to hang out. The halls are filled with wizards conducting their newly learned skills of fire, water, earth and wind to get attention and have fun. Only one student stays back, watching the others with a blank face and a bored posture. He thinks, and thinks all day every day. No other teens care to notice. He is a nobody, he popped up out of thin air one day and travels silently. The teachers never seem to see him either.

He shifts, sensing something. Something has changed, he can feel it. He stops everything and sits with his head cocked, as if he were waiting. Suddenly the boy jumps up. The boy dashes through the crowd, easily flying through the crowd like a ghost. Then he hit someone. A circle cleared around the two as the big guy turned and said “You wanna mess wit me?”
The next minute there is a bright flash of plasma from the kid’s hands, knocking the bully out as the kid kept running. He runs through the hall, as fast as a horse, when another group of friends walks out from a corner right into his path…

This campaign is a table game of dnd between friends in which the world has been at peace for 1 thousand years. The peoples of the world have forgotten most things and just started making all the people perfect. All people know magic, at least slightly, and are developing the power to make the world the best it can be. This is not good for the gods. They were once in charge of that but now the people can do it them selves there is no need for gods. You can see where this is going.
