The World of Attare
House Rules:
For everyone:
- Characters of any race can choose any language as a bonus language, except for secret languages like Druidic.
- All characters who start with a Full BAB get Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat.
- Retroactive skillpoints.
- Disable Device and Open Lock are combined into one skill.
- Characters can have up to 1 Flaw and 2 Traits.
- Weapon Finesse applies to all weapons.
- Power Attack works with light weapons.
- Dodge and Mobility are combined and give a static +1 Dodge bonus to AC.
- You can use Exotic Weapon Proficiency to become proficient with all improvised weapons.
- Quick Draw lets you ‘quick sheath’ too.
- Toughness gives +3 HP/Level.
- Monkey Grip lets you wield larger weapons with no penalty.
- Intuitive Strike applies to all weapons.
- You can take Regional Feats. You don’t have to take them at first level, and you can take multiple regional feats. I just expect there to be some flavor justification.
- Effects that improve Crit range stack. For example, if you have Improved Critical and a Keen weapon, both apply.
- Whenever you would do double damage or higher, such as by getting a critical hit or charging with a lance, you just multiply your result by the weapons multiplier instead of rolling that amount of dice. For example, if you get a critical hit with a longsword and roll 1d8+3=8, you would deal 16 damage.
- When you charge, you get +2 Attack AND +2 Damage.
- You can make ranged attacks while prone.
- If you have a Smite ability, you can use it as part of a Full Attack.
- There is Magic-Psionic-Incarnum transparency. For example, Spell Resistance works against Psionics, and Dispel Psionics works on Incarnum.
- Characters can only take Prestige Classes if their base, unmodified stats qualify them for it.
- LA Buyoff is allowed.
