Character Sheets
What are your thoughts on character sheets?
Do you like the password protected privacy or would you like the convenience of having the sheets on this site (but visible by other players)?
I can go either way on this. I don’t mind keeping them separate. Heaven knows that I’ve been keeping a plethora of resources going already.
Not being the type that “normally” keeps stuff secret on my sheet, I’m fine with them being here. But I’m also fine with leaving them where they are too.
I’m ok making them public… since we supposedly started out as friends, and have now seen each other in battle, it makes sense that we would be pretty familiar with each other’s abilities.
I agree. There were a couple of things that people wanted to role play out as surprises but I think all of that has been done. At this point of traveling together, fighting together, the level of first aid done to most everyone, and the fact that you are all roommates living in the same bedroom, there probably isn’t very much about your current lives that is a secret.
John M mentioned that he was going to be checking into a dynamic template for characters. I think I’ll hold off on a switch over until we have a definite yay or nay on that.
I’ve started working with the creation of a character sheet using my PC as the guinea pig. Let me know if there are things you think should be added, moved, subtracted. Once I have one sheet done, it will be fairly easy to copy/paste it to the others and just change the numbers around.
Essentially, I’m just following the format we had on the blog character sheets but let me know if there is something you want changed.
Sorry that every update gets emailed out as a notification. I’m playing with the tables and I can’t see what they look like without saving them and each save sends notification that something has been changed. I think it’s coming along nicely though.
I’m open to any feedback you guys might have. As soon as we think it’s in place, we can copy/paste the format to the other characters and change the info.
I’ve got things where I want them with the sheets and will be updating all the characters soon. I’m actually hoping to get them all done today. One thing that I haven’t done is added the weights of your equipment yet so if you get bored and want to do it, have at it. Otherwise, it will have to wait until my second pass through.

They turned out better than I had hoped when I started (if I do say so myself).
It was a lot of information to transpose so there may be some mistakes. I caught quite a few as I worked ahead on other characters but there could easily be more. With OP, you can fix them yourself or just let me know what’s wrong and I’ll set it straight.
There are some wiki pages that I want to create and link to some of the characters but it’s break time so maybe later.
