D’arrington, the ex-Magos in the Imperium Adeptus Mechanicus, is a high-ranking tech priest who refined in the field of Warp Energy. His dedication and desire of greater power twisted him into a cruel and insane scientist. His cold-blooded experiments test the connection between human and raw warp energy. Comrades, guardsmen or even civilians were caught as his research subjects to observe the connection between human and the Warp. He ignored his former brethren forbiddance and deliberately invented warp-powered cybernetics and weapons. Many of his inventions were sculpted into his “specimens” for test or just self-appreciation. Most of his victims will not be able to survive more than a week under these inhuman experiments.
Under the long exposure to the Warp, D’arrington is also obsessed and fancied by this ruinous power. To pursue his desire of power, he flees away from the Manor of Mechanicus who seizes renegades and turns them into servitors and penances. He concealed himself in the Dark Forges and started his ambition and experiment once again. And his research turns completely esoteric which brought him closer to the Chaos god.
To protect himself from the hunt of Imperial Cult, D’arrington upgraded his cybernetics and equipment for self-defense. He rebuilt his mechandenrils for long-ranged and close combat. One of them is armed with a hidden laspistol for sniping enemies in behind. He hided an upgraded Servo Arm under his heavy cloak, which is as mighty in battle as it is useful in repairs.
