A Mars native, Sylvie was an employee of the MMC- the Mars Medical Corps. This is a government sponsored arm of the medical service, which provides a Flying Doctor/ Paramedic service throughout the Martian Outback, to Mining Settlements and even to Orbital Facilities where these are not otherwise provided by the private sector. Sylvie trained as a paramedic and spent several years working in Orbit, before finally being assigned to Outback duties. With the deaths of several colleagues of late she has regretfully decided that the Service is not taking sufficient steps to protect its personnel, and has resigned.
Sylvie is friendly and open. She is proficient in Aiki Jitsu, and is a resourceful outback survivor.
