Four brave heroes set out from Waterdeep to Neverwinter, escorting a mysterious half-elf and her mysterious package. They become embroiled in mysterious plots involving the provisional government, the Open Lord of Waterdeep, and several mysterious organizations trying to manipulate them.
In seemingly unrelated events, a guild of adventurers in the city of Waterdeep begins to uncover a mysterious plot involving the Lords of Waterdeep and a sinister power. How this relates to the events in Neverwinter is unclear.
