Very few mortals would call a city like this “quiet”, but in terms of the supernatural Boston has been spared a lot of trouble, save for some spooky stories and the small monsters that will hide in any darkness. The major players of the hidden world keep only a perfunctory eye here, content that the situation is, if not quite safe, at least stable. But a strange power lurks in Boston, something that until now has been held back, sleeping, or maybe biding its time. That is about to change.

Ghosts of History…

Boston’s past is as twisted as its streets and its troubles date back even further than the founding of this country. Knowledge, treasures, and lost souls all are buried here, waiting for the curious to unearth them. Or in some cases, not bothering to wait at all.

Not all monsters spring from the Nevernever, and you don’t need to be a vampire to devour someone’s life. Human beings do a fine job of it all on their own, and can be more ruthless about it than the professional demons.
