In his human life, Creg is a forty year old laid off factory worker forced to work as a janitor at one of the local colleges. He is a blue collar conservative who sought the American Dream of the loving family, big house, white picket fence, etc. When he was young, he seemed to be going toward that dream. He was a star player on the football team and he married the prom queen right out of high school. Eventually, life decided it was time to beat the crap out of him. He is now divorced and lives in an apartment estranged from his drug addict son and lezbian daughter. He travels with his companions to search for a way to get back home, but secretly wonders if home is worth going back to.
