The life of a sailor is hard. Your job is to make it harder.
This campaign will involve lots of battles both on and between ships of varying sizes, so make your character able to handle these sorts of environments. The campaign will also involve a fair amount of time on islands containing all sorts of environments, so be ready for that. I recommend not using fire based attacks and I recommend having ranks in Profession:Sailor, Acrobatics, Climb, and Swim. I am also allowing two third party classes which can be found on the SRD, the Priest and the Corsair.
Races allowed include all the regulars (Elves n’ shit, yo) along with the following; Dhampir, Fetchling, Gillman, Sylph, Tiefling (see me if this is your choice), and Undine.
The basic idea of the campaign is that you are all the head crew of a smuggling vessel working to spread your goods while avoiding the watchful eye of the Karkovian Empire. Naturally piracy, lies, and murder will be happening, so I recommend against the lawful alignment. Beyond that I don’t really care about alignment, actions speak louder than the two letters on top of your character sheet.
