Renate sits on the third throne on the Vampire Counsel for the United States of America. He has gotten rather comfortable in his position and takes advantage of it when he can. His judgement is quick and he tends to make snap decisions on punishment. He is the muscle of the Vampire Counsel and few come to him for anything out of fear.

His twin sister is Jaznae Phoenix.
