Letters from Arkham is my Call of Cthulhu game.

The first Campaign started Oct. 30, 2006 with a stand-alone game that ended in a three-investigator TPK. The campaign started in earnest in January 2007 and lasted until May 18, 2009. The campaign dates lasted from February 6, 1925, to December 12, 1926. Or therabouts. A side scenario took place during the Punitive Expedition of 1916. A total of 38 player characters came and went through the campaign. Of those, 10 died and one committed himself to Arkham Sanitarium (and was later lost through a gate to the Dreamlands).

After that, I ran scenarios from my own Phantom of Wilson Creek at various conventions. Though they were not part of a campaign, per se, they fit into my campaign setting and were part of the history of this particular world of Call of Cthulhu.

I’ve recently started running again. This time a group in North Carolina is playing. We started on Monday, January 30, 2012. The starting date of the campaign is Wednesday, September 19, 1928. We’ll see how they do.
