I was born in Absalom twenty-five years ago on the mean streets where I learned to cheat and steal to survive. I fought tooth and nail to get off the streets, and one day when I was fourteen I found a gypsy caravan leaving Absalom for a far off land called Cheliax. It took me a few years but I made it to Cheliax and at the age of 18 join the Red Mantis Society becoming a low ranking and level thief I’m hoping to make it up in the ranks as I do more jobs for the society.
I met Professor Lorrimor when I was 21, he was hiring rogues to obtain information on locations he wanted to explore or people he was investigating. After getting the information for him, either by exploring the surrounding locations or shadowing people of interest. He rehired me to infiltrate the locations to find evidence to corroborated his findings. I would infiltrate a few hours ahead of him, disarm traps or eliminate any opposition to his investigation. Upon succeeding with that I would the give him the signal that it was free of traps and personal. Then would shadow him while he was inside to prevent any harm from befalling him that I might have missed.
Me and Professor Lorrimor have kept in contact over the years, he would ask me about any rogues he planning to hire, if I knew that they were trust worthy. Sometimes he would hire me to investigate sources of new investigations. I was in the River Kingdoms when I received notice that the Professor had died, after completing my job there which took a about a week I got a job escorting a few caravans heading for Ustalav to investigate his death. It took me 2 months to get to Ustalav, and upon reaching Ustalav I will find out how he died, if there was foul play, and if so that foul will wish he had not crossed the Mantis.
When I was in the River Kingdoms, a pirate lord hired me to eliminate a subordinate that was selling him out to another pirate lord. Upon discovering who this lord was and that he was born into the position, I returned the money and canceled the job as required but the oath I made to the Red Mantis.
