Background:
The first son of Sir Valorous Marduk of Idras, Charon adopted the ways of Heironeous from an early age and displayed a pure heart and a sense of justice and propriety which carried him from squirehood to becoming a Paladin in the service of the Church. Wandering the countryside as a Knight Hospitaller, he used his divine abilities to ease suffering and lead pilgrimages safely through the countryside.
In seeking glory in the name of Heironeous and the Greater Good, Charon returned home to Idris to find that his cousin, Sir Moren, was suspended on supposed desertion of duty. After hearing Moren’s side of the story, Charon set out to find the agents that his cousin had sent to rally the city-states for the coming threat…
Description:
A tall, heavily-built Idrean man in his mid-twenties. He takes strongly after his father, with blond hair and blue eyes, along with the commanding gaze that his family is reputed for in Idras. He wears a red suit of full Idrean platemail emblazoned with the holy symbol of Heironeous and a heavy steel shield with the same markings prominently featured. In addition, he wears a long, royal blue cape that bears the crest of his family.
Oftentimes he can be found with his heavy warhorse, Maximilian, who was reared and trained from a colt by Charon. While most warhorses are overly aggressive, the long years of conditioning and traveling with the same rider has tempered this particular stallion, so it can even be approached by children without suddenly flying into a rage. It is, however, huge for its size.
