A crooked ancient man sitting a high backed chair leans forward with his elbows resting on his knees looking at you intently. You jump as the burning wood in the nearby fire place pops loudly. The old man flashes a nearly toothless grins at your skittishness and give a wheezing chuckle.

“So you want to hear of the time before the Blackstone rain?” he asks with a gravelly voice. “The time when the night held no horrors, the time before the Merging. The time before a man could make his way in the world by the strength of his heart, arm, and soul.”

He sits up straight, “Let me tell you about the soft times and of TV.”

Change of Day: The Beginning

The day is December 21, 2012 when the dark comet strikes the earth’s atmosphere, shatters, and starts the fusing of realities. Now begins the time after the Blackstone Rain where man must learn to live in a world where the natural laws of two conflicting realities must achieve equilibrium.
