Lia is the only daughter of a pair of adventuring druids. Her parents retired from adventuring when she was born.
Lia grew up in Tangled Trees with her parents. She grew up listening to her parents’ stories of adventure. From an early age, Lia had a keen connection with nature. She spent most of her time in the woods trying to find her place in the world; just like her parents had when they were younger.
She heard nature’s call as a young adult. When she told her parents about it, they were more than thrilled. Lia and her parents had been looking forward to the day she would start her own adventure. Her parents told her where to find the druid circle that they had belonged to in their youth. So, Lia set off into the woods with a promise to her parents to return as a full-fledged druid and adventuring stories of her own.
Lia found the druid circle her parents had mentioned. She quickly assimilated into the circle as the elder druids recognized her as the daughter of some old friends. So began her own adventure as she joined the druid circle.
Over time, the other druids taught her many things. However, no one could teach her what form she would take as a predatory druid. She learned that the form each druid takes is the result of their own personal journey of self-discovery.
While she continued training with the other druids, she continued to struggle to find her own form. This was when a traveling gypsy group, called the Vistani, happened upon the druid circle. They were looking for a guide through Myth Drannor.
Lia eagerly volunteered, as she was very familiar with the area. The elder druids also agreed that this would be a great opportunity for Lia to go on a journey to find her true druid form. As she left the druid circle, the elders reminded her to continue her training as she set off into her adventure with the Vistani.
Lia’s travels with the gypsy caravan took her to many new and exciting places, but it wasn’t until they visited the southern reaches of Faerun that she obtained her own wild shape power. There, Lia and the Vistani encountered several breeds of large predatory cats.
Lia was instantly fascinated by the creatures, and as she spent more time with the cats, she learned to take on the form of a tiger with her wild shape power. Lia was very excited that she had finally found her own druid form.
