Enter the Chaos Scar

Your brave party of adventurers have head deep into the valley known as the Chaos Scar hoping for fame, fortune, and adventure. The land contains unrest as a Orc Warchief is gathering an army to assault the lands beyond the King’s Wall. That simple wall hopes to hold back the corruption and enemies from the lands of the ruling lord and their people.

The Chaos Scar was formed long ago when a meteorite crashed in from the heavens. Some thought it was punishment from the Gods, but those who know, knew that it was from the stars themselves to make a foothold. Since that crash, this place has been torn out of the natural balance and many foul things have occurred and aberrant beasts walk the land. Many adventurers have tried to tap into that foul power to become Gods themselves and have been corrupted by it.

The party has found that the source of Warchief Rockbreaker’s power comes from a powerful mage known as Mahar who has killed one of their party and dragged the party into the Shadowfell. The party escaped his grasp and now searches for a way to return to their homeland.

This adventure is being run completely through the internet via free tools to allow some D&D vets and noobs the chance to try out D&D4 even when we are located across the country. The adventure is loosely based on the Chaos Scar adventures found at Wizards.com and material from The Shadowfell but with some additions.
