Jack Random is a guns/wings-for-hire mercenary that was last working for a Captain Kaye, sofar as the crew knows. Of the few times he encountered the crew, he was impressed by the pilot’s masterful skill of fighter and freighter alike. Very little else is known of him, but he seems to be a decent man that works not so much for the money, but for the challenge.
