An soldier serving Alocer, mother to Lady Margone
Monster Manual, page 54. Sauraphine may have class levels as well.
Sauraphine looks like a beautiful, statuesque human woman with white-feathered wings, red glowing eyes, and curling red-blond hair. Her skimpy clothing leaves little to the imagination; she wears a longsword, a shining red bow, and a rope. She moves and speaks with quiet grace, unseen and unheard until she wishes to be.
Sauraphine has served Alocer since time out of mind. Indeed, some believe her to be one of the fallen angels that begot the erinyes race.
A dalliance with a long-dead mortal sharper named Rudrik led to Sauraphine’s forgotten half-fiendish daughter, Lady Margone.
Previously assigned to Alocer’s armies, Sauraphine is currently shepherding work crews in the Iron City of Dis. The reason for this is dark; perhaps she displeased her masters.
Like any baatezu, Sauraphine wishes to hold on to the power she already has, and to gain more by any means necessary. Everyone else is either a superior (to be plotted against), a potential minion (to be disposed of when their usefulness ends), or an adversary (to be humiliated and destroyed).
She is a skilled temptress, with sharp insight into mortal nature. Commanding road crews is a dreadful waste of her talent. Her recent tryst with Kalenthor fascinated Sauraphine, and the elf has surely not seen the last of her.
An erinyes by this name appears in Fires of Dis.
