Tylaric Stormwing is a human with gangly limbs and flame-red hair. As the Dancing Man, he wore a battered brown waistcoat; now he dresses in chain mail and shiny black boots.
Tylaric came to the Cage ten years ago, from the land of Furyondy on Oerth. Five years ago, he tumbled into the Abyss and lost his mind; when he returned to Sigil, he began wandering the Hive as the “Dancing Man.” The party encountered him in this state, shouting the names of Abyssal Lords, until Tylaric ran afoul of the Shadowknave.
Tylaric believes that he ventured beyond the Eternal Boundary, where Saint Cuthbert commanded him to return to Sigil and join the Sensates. He’s not aware that another barmy, Eliath, had a remarkably similar experience, due to the manipulations of the Illuminated.
Though not the sinner Eliath was, Tylaric is grateful for his second chance, and committed to not making a mess of it. He’s rededicated himself to virtuous, chivalrous living, and to experiencing every sensation he can.
Tylaric appears in The Eternal Boundary.
