The Editor-in-Chief of the Kingsport Chronicle
Stanley Carter is a harried and hurried man with graying hair. Of medium height and build, he wears pincenez spectacles and almost always has a pencil stuck behind one ear.
Carter’s mind is almost always on the next edition of the Kingsport Chronicle, and his conversations often seem distracted as a result.
He is currently having problems with one of his beat writers, Julian St. Jerome, whom he feels searches for sensationalism in every story he writes.
He is very knowledgeable about Kingsport and the Miskatonic Valley area, but his detailed information only goes back a century or so.
