Daimler Double Six (1926)
A 1926 Daimler Double Six
Description
Despite offering numerous models and being the official vehicle of the Royal Family, Daimler released the Double Six as direct competition to Rolls-Royce’s feature-rich Phantom.
Backstory
As any charismatic cult-leader will tell you, a nice set of wheels sets you apart from the local flim flam man on the corner. Ivy Morgan may have taken this advice a bit too seriously.
The vehicle sustained heavy damage on the evening of September 28, 1926, When Ivy ran in to the back of a Model TT truck near Arkham, Massachusetts.
After Ivy’s untimely death, the vehicle was towed back to New York for repairs. Once fixed, the Daimler will be sold at auction.
