A town in trouble
Ragnarok, Montana, is a beacon of hope in the wastes. Self-sufficient and welcoming (within reason), the people of Ragnarok made a conscious choice to take the hard road: rather than turn to raiding when times got tough, they chose to stick to their principles and try to make it on hard work alone.
Good intentions aren’t always enough, though. Things got worse, and the only hope for Ragnarok seemed to lie in the nearby city of Freewell, a highly-irradiated treasure trove of loot that had lain virtually untouched for 13 years.
They sent out a call for scavengers, men and women willing to risk life and limb in Freewell for the good of the town and a cut of the profits.
What they got, instead, were heroes.
